Treasure Huntress

When my cats are napping or are outside in the KittyWalk catio, I sometimes make a treasure hunt for them.

Let the search begin!

I put down treats in plain sight, hidden inside boxes, high and low around the apartment. They pick up the smell of the goodies and go search for them. Here Ronja is hunting for treats, using her nose to find the next one.

 

It's an easy way to activate your lazy indoor cat and it will get to use it senses. The cat is entertained, gets a little bit of exercise and even gets treats! It's what you might call a snacktivity.

Hide and seek
